Niskik why dont you just address the situation with the person bluntly but in a nice manner.
Like 'hey listen you know the thing I asked you to do, I know you are busy and stuff but you think you will have time to do it or do you know someone else who'd be able to do it for me.
That way you'd find out whats keeping them from doing so.
such frankness should be permitted among friends and you did say she is a friend.
Im a lousy friend to people who know me cause between home and work I never have any time for anyone else. Not that I dont wanto make time, its just that I dont have time.
The problem is that she is the only one who can do this particular thing. I also know that she wants to do it. Maybe my fault is that I did not give her a deadline so she is taking it easy.
I guess I have to let her know!
