of course the phone is on vibration otherwise after you fake a call it might actually ring during the call!!

Redvelvet has given some good tips but it would take a lot of himmat for me to try any of those. :hinna:
One thing I sometimes do is do a -to-do-list in my head whilst listening.

I know a family friend, who are really sweet, but very talkative. OMG, whenever they come over my jaw starts hurting because of smiling constantly and pretending I’m loving their stories. And then they’re like ‘tum log bohat kam boltay ho, bohat boring hota ho ga’. LOL.

I usuallyyyyy zone out in most conversations and keep going hmmm , hmmmm ,hmmmm, so i actually appreciate people who can go on and on and on without noticing whether the other person’s eyes have glazed over
