I have my father’s educational certificates , his achievement awards , newspaper clipping , framed couple of his writings , I still have his watch ( the one he had on him , during his last days ) and one of his favorite Tie .

Rest of his belongings were donated to the charity ..

**It may sound weird but every year , I buy things for him such as unstitched clothes ( on the very same pattern he used ) and give as sadqa …

On occasions , my mom cooks the same dishes , he liked - offer fateha and send them to mosques/people in need !

So in a way - not alive but we have managed to keep him in our lives …

This is not weird at all. My mom also buy clothes & that too of a same kind of fabric which my grandparents used to wear to give as a sadqa.
