I think you have to be careful. Asking a designer to exactly work like a regular worker and copy something is just not realistic. They are artists, remember, and asking them to copy some other person’s design seems unfair. Now, of course, they should not agree to it if they are unwilling to make the copy and certainly should not make changes without telling you, but I do think that we do a disservice when we don’t consider their artistic sense.

When I ordered the dress, they asked me if I wanted the “same exact kaam as the picture” and I said yes. So naturally, I was expecting something very similar to the pic. They also added things I specifically asked them not to do. Aghhh.
