i know they use the term karachitte for a person from karachi.

They use the term in fashion magazines - I dont know if its one of those burger terms they pull out of their behinds or a legitimage word.

waesay i was also interested in knowing abt chitralis.. is anyone from the chitral region? heard that they still follow some ancient religion.. one of the last pockets in pakistan to have resisted islam for 1300 years..

No I can't, well I could give you the URL for the sailing school where I met the photographer, but I think if you were to go search for geneology and concentrate on that region you will have better luck. But stay tuned after the super bowl is over I 'll go googling.

No in NWFP or Hazara somehow all Karachi-ites are called barwas. I dont hink it has anything to do with pimping. I always thought barwa meant someone from karachi, however now I am confused.

Desibanda, the Chitral people you mentioned are a tribe called the Kalash. There is quite alot of info about them on the internet...
