Depends on my mood. Mostly it's "Ammi" and "Abbu", but sometimes I say "Mama" and "Papa" as well.
I wonder what my son will say. :)

to my mother - ami ji [usually], mom jokingly], mama [when i need something :D]
to my father - abu ji [most of th etime] or dad [when i mean business]

I call my father 'abu' and my mother 'maa'.

Grew up in states. I call Ammi a few things. Ammi, Ma, or Ammiji. Dad is Daddy. smile
