Everyone of inlaws requested me to call them ami abbu. I did it for abt two weeks( when i was in pk) but every time i felt so awkward… Coz they aren’t my parents…and most important i was saying ami abbu to them coz of others… Anyways my saas (aunty) started to show her saas wale chalein… Nehh she can’t be my mom…
I call them ami abu..for me its not about showing respect cause calling them aunty/uncle wont make them feel insulted..but i call them ami abu cause it helps build a better connection with them something more Apna Apna..Sometimes by mistake I even call her mamma(thats what i call my owm mom:blush: )
