I was watching that indian wrestler ‘great khali’ on t.v..realized that he is actually a ‘totla’ lol…it just got me thinking whats english for ‘totla’.

nope they are different
stammer, is where you cant say a full word properly
like
"k k k k k k k kiran"
and a lisp is like saying "poleeese" (police)

Totla ho ya totli English mein gender ka koi farq nahi hai. Bas do hi lafz milte hain. 1) STAMMERER 2)STUTTERER

a lisp is when u make ur S's and Z's sound like "th's
totla totli means one who stutters when talking....stutter is when u have a distruption of speech and/or when u prolongate a vowel sound.

u know how we say to baby's totla ke boltha hai....they dont have a lisp...they just gasp in b/w words (disruption of speech)

i do research on linguistics and education.
it is called stammering.
speech pathology tells us that it could be due to a defect in the speech apparatus or due to kids or adults being afraid and less communicative.
prognosis includes training in grammatically and syntactically correct speech with confidence building therapy.

stammering and stuttering is the same from my understanding.
