what do u think?

ok well this has been on my mind for a while n i had to ask

ok well we all know that suicide is haraam but can there be exceptions???

lets say during the time pakistan was made, women were often raped by the opposition, most of them committed suicide before this could happen to them..so in this sense was their suicide justified so that they could save themselves from the terrible horror

well I kno Matsui is one exception...

other than that, according to my knowledge, there is no loophole around suicide.. if a woman is rape, its a test of ALLAH an she shouldnt kill herself just to make life easier for herself.. As we all kjnow time to time, we r all tested.. its all about gettin thru it..

no … “:rotato:”](http://www.gupistan.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=100959)

you have raised a good question...i m not sure about the orders for us (muslims)about it...but my Islamic sense says that in the circumstances u mentioned, may be its not Haraam...
some one make it clear please.

ok well we all know that suicide is bad but can there be exceptions???

lets say during the time pakistan was made, Hindu and Sikh women crossing over to go to India were often raped by the Pakistanis, many may have committed suicide before this could happen to them..so in this sense was their suicide justified so that they could save themselves from the terrible horror.
Interested in hearing from Indians.

i dont believe i said just muslim women, i was just using the time frame as an example, i just want to know if this is islamically acceptable.

oh ok, i thought u had a problem with my question??

I dunno, i would like to find out tho

nah women are stronger than u think, we may not have been made physically strong, but we can tolerate pain better than a man ever could. In the pakistan case, u cannot prevent something from happening, u can try avoiding it, but what will happen, will happen. Its not ur life anyways, Allah created u, its his decision to bring u back.

If word got around that one of the Pakistani men was you, the pop of Indian would be down by about 50% back in '47 and hovering around 0 today.
