now days whats in fashion or brides what do u make or prefer to make with your jahaiz /bari kam wali shirts

shalwar
capri
simple trouser
dhaka pajama

I dont know if most brides will do this but what I did was only make a few formal dresses because they can out of fashion so fast and then you feel bad. I got 12 really fancy ones for dinners and parties and a few simple party wear ones.. as the time went by I started getting 1 or 2 made as the fashion changes now. I don't feel so bad because once I had the baby most of those fit me anymore and they are a waste since I wore them maybe once.. but that's just my take. As for your questions I did mostly shalwar kameez but this was in 2008. Right now these days I have been getting all in trousers because pretty much everyone is wearing those these days..

^ lol...I'm a bride-to-be and I'd make more wide legged pants than shalwars. 1 or 2 chooridaars as well. I choose pants over shalwars because given the types of cuts that are 'IN' right now (a-line shirts), pants look best. Not a fan of shalwars any more. You can always make shalwars and pants with some joras and alternate between the 2 depending on the occassion.

Im not getting many jehaz suits made..but ive deceided that Ill defently be getting some shalwar's churidar and a gharara made..maybe one with trouser..

I'm gettin trousers and capris made also one gharara, but not alot as they probz go out of fashion soon :)

Hey, I'm not making any shalwara's. I'm making either wide legged pants or just pants. I dont have many capri's either. Also I'm not making a lot of heavy formals, as fashion changes quickly and once back to North American we dont really go to davaat that much and I wouldnt wear really heavy ones to a davaat of 10 people. :)

Well me (bride 2 b) making trousers n pants…refer to Sunday Plus of 9th october page 52,53 no more come back of shalwar or patyala till next yr so m jus relax wid my choice
yeah but i hav 2 old beloved suits with shalwars n i wud take along with me :slight_smile:
i was nt sure for the shirt length whether normal or so long then after watching fashion shows and magazines i decided to make jus below knee length for my formals few r gowns.
u can have a better idea of it after watching upcoming bridal show from style 360 channel:)

Probably 10 formal wear and 5 semi-formal, the rest will be casuals to wear at home.

I'm making one gharara and a couple saris. The others are all slim fit pants and churidaar -- not a fan of wide-legged pants -- plus, from what I hear, they will be going out of fashion soon!

London is not that bad for most of the year and even when it does get cold not like you feel it indoors..
