I live in the nice and peaceful suburbs but am about 30 minutes away from the city! Also I live like less than 5 minutes away from the mosque!!!!

I absolutely LOVE New York, with all of its awesomeness and awefulness. I’m so glad to be going back home in december, even if its for a few weeks.

The place I’m in right now (for school)

I like it because of it being soooo beautiful,
Very serene even tho I rarely get the chance to stop and sneak a peak at the beautiful turqouise ocean and the second largest sand-reef in the world. Amazingly gorgeous sunsets and sunrises which I get the see almost everyday-thanks to the endless studying
Beautiful weather- I LOVE 8 months of Spring, even tho I miss snow!

And to those who miss Azaan, why don’t you install islamicfinder on your laptop?

I live in the Island, the city is very accessable. There are mashallah many mosques that are not too far from each other. All of the desi places are near by and just a few mintues on drive. Where I live all of the highways are a minute away, LIRR is near, and my town is one of the best communities to live (especially because of the High school/Middle School system).

I used to live in Queens, I miss that sometimes. It is definately more convenient because you dont need a car, you can just walk, take a bike, subway, bus and go anywhere. That place is very much alive during the night too.
