What do ppl say to the dulhan on stage and what are some appropriate responses?

Ok so what are things aunties usually say to you on the stage and what are you supposed to say back? give the dialogues in urdu.
for example, if someone says “jeeti raho, bohot khubsurat lag rahe ho” what are you supposed to say? i’m sure “mujhay pata hai” is not the appropriate answer :stuck_out_tongue:

in my mangi the entire world got on stage together to so all the formalities and i said thanks to everyone. wht else are u suppose to say?

And best way is to say words like, Mashallah, alhumdulillah, allah ka shukar hai/ etc.:p

people just congratulate you, and tell you how beautiful you look..and you just have to smile and say thank you. simple. :)

Actually I said “pata hai”:halo: but that wz to sum of my close family (cousins, friends) and then I said thank u to others :blush:
Oh and I forgot to say that one auntie told me “kitni achi lag rhi ho” and I told her “Mashallah b kehte hai saath” hihi.

just smile and say whatever you feel is rite most probably thank you aur kya kehna haii

lol....come to think of it-dont u get TIRED and STIFF sitting on the stage for so many hours?????? I cant sit in a movie theater straight...I mean a person would naturally want to stretch their arms/legs......

come on ladies, you just say thank you and make small talk? i'm sure you've been to enough parties and attended lots of weddings yourselves to know what that is and how to do it! theres no manual or rule book on how to be a bride- in the end, be yourself. be polite. smile a lot, and be happy!
