Pakistan’s Shia population, despite having the freedom of speech to call for it, have never demanded an Iranian-style state. The Shia religious parties get only a fraction of the Shia vote, given the election outcomes. Most Pakistani Shia vote for traditional political parties.
Given this history, it is impossible to say that Iran poses any threat to Pakistan’s political order.
