We all know that Hindi film heros eat ‘gaajar ka halwa’ and ‘aalu ke parathe’ all the time. The dialogue ‘aa, main BA paas ho gaya hoon’ often ends with him being feeded ‘gaajar ka halwa’ And there is another moronic dialogue ’ maa, tumhe kaise pataa ke mujhe gaajar ka halwa pasand hain.’ what a moron? who is supposd to know that.
what are the family cliches in pakistani films.
Whatever their woman (mom, wife, sis, mashook, etc.) makes for them.
On a slightly different note, in movies, I have not seen any Pakistani Hero cooking for himself. In some TV shows I recall seeing some men cooking. It was very refreshing to see that.
ZZ no idea I have seen maybe 2 or 3 pakistani movies and none in the last 2 decades...so cant answer.

I have never seen a Hindi movie hero cook either ! I guess this may reflect reality to some extent. Although, I think women in Hindi movies are shown in the kitchen too often !
