lol, I had a really weird proposal where the guy actually checked out my mother, to see how I would age!

If you want to see roughly how he'll age, in terms of weight and health, look at his dad.

It honestly depends on the individual, how they were raised and their culture affinities. But I shall attempt to provide a catch all list of what men look for taking to account anything and everything any guy may consider.

  1. Looks: Yes men are shallow creatures. We seek to be physically attracted to the woman we wish to marry.
  2. Personality: Is she bubbly? Dull? Boring? Religious? Hyper? Cute and cuddly? Each man has a different element which is considered his deal breaker. Some can't stand loud women. Others love loud opinionated women.
  3. Religious and cultural views: Again it depends on the guy and what he is looking at. Does he seek a Niqabi or a more modern girl? Does he seek balance or extremes?
  4. Upbringing: Links with family how she meshes with her siblings, mother and father. Extended family etc.
  5. Wealth: Some guys want to use family to build connections and amass personal wealth so in that regard how well to do a girl's family is matters.
  6. Education: Some guys want a PHD some want high school. Its all about personal preferences and their aim for their lives
  7. Family background: As in culture, caste, traditions, etc.

Those are the very basic any man may look at. They may look at all of them. Or just one or two. Either way there is no way to tell what the man looks for in a potential mate unless you ask him.
