Could turn in to an ego issue, the girl may take offense for you considering her to be just avergae looking. You would have a better response if you said I am not looking for someonedrop dead gorgeous, just decent looking, that is IF she herelf iso k with just a decent looking guy. Sugar coating could be of help.

How about not emphasizing you dont want a good looking girl but an avg girl. Instead say.....It'd be great to get a beautiful women plus beautiful personality, but if I had a choice, id prefer average looks but a good personality since marriage is a lifelong commitment.

This is a first…I have always seen the Ugliest of the guys…looking for a supermodel material for him to get married to…Have you not seen that …They guys have these ego of always saying…“Im looking for a beautiful girl…or better yet…Im looking for a Beautiful soul…but the minute a good looking girl walks by…they r like “I want that !”…
