Re: What do Afridi, Sachin, Lara, Ponting, Kallis, Jayasuria, KP have in common??
Know nothing about cricket? What an iron clad argument for a response.
A guy with a garbage average when it comes to batting and a sky high average in bowling somehow manages to play 400 matches. That is called a free run. While good talented youngsters like Fawad Alam with an average of 41, and countless other youngsters rot in our domestic circuit.
A person deserves his place if he performs consistently. This year alone he has scored 588 runs in 35 games, taking 34 wickets (less than one per game). That is a joke. Now multiply this by twenty years and you get what is called a free run.
You respond to an argument with your view and some sort of proof to back up said view. I had a view and I backed it up,unless cricinfo are also manipulating numbers. Otherwise an argument has zero credibility so don’t use any ignorance as a badge of honor. If you say he is a quality player please prove he has played well consistently.
Thing is, no Afridi fan can.
