I am getting engaged next month. My in laws will be getting the dress and jewellery for me. I am dying out of curiosity and excitement.
So, in the meanwhile, I thought why not I ask you guys about your engagement dress. And what kind of jewellery did you get for it? And your makeup, did you get it done from a parlor or at home?
What did you wear on your engagement?
My engagement was in a hall, but only because our home was too small to accommodate immediate family from both sides, so ended I ended up going for a more dressy look as a result. I wore a light turquoise and lilac banarsi gharara with a two tone kameez with light lilac work.
I did my own make up and kept it light, but my cousin did my eyes as I can't do eye make up at all.
I had my hair done in a half up do at a local salon as I also can't style hair very well. I wore my dupatta on my head (setting by my cousin) and wore my mums multi stone drop earings and simple chain. That's it.
