Re: What did you have for Iftaari/Sehri
Sehri: paratha, a bowl of oatmeal and a protein shake
Iftari: karahi gosht, samosa and pakora, aswell as a devon ice split to curb my craving for something sweet and water.

Re: Sheri/Iftari
I guess I will start off...
For sheri depends what mom is making. Usually it's 1 whole egg or omellette with 1 paratha or brown bread. Mixed with little beef (keema). 1 serving of fruit with glass of juice/milk. 2 glass water before eating anything and one after brushing teeth right before dua.
Iftari, I usually break with dates (2-3), then drink down water and juice then eat some fruits. Samosas/Channy/Pakoras..etc but I don't fill up. I end that with a shake (usually bannana or apricot). Then Maghrib salaat. Then 1 hour later eat dinner (chicken/rice/beef/fish).. not much cuz gotta stand in tarawih 45 mins later..

For Suhoor I eat porridge, a banana, some dates and a few glasses of water.
I do my Iftaar with a few dates, a fruit salad and a few glasses of water then pray Maghrib Salaah and then have my dinner, Soup for starters, for mains Moussakka or Kebab-Nan or Meaty Pillaw Rice or Roast etc. and for afters rice pudding, custard or something similar.

Re: What did you have for Iftaari/Sehri
I am tempted to be driven all the way to Toronto to eat halal fried chicken from Popeye's!!!! I had 2-3 pakoray, 2-3 bites of fruit chat and then roti with kofthay for dinner. What Id like to have:
2-3 crispy pakoray and unlimited crispy samosas made with the eggroll shell.....i love them with chutney!!!!!!! But im on a limited fat/low sugar/low carb diet...soooo oh well :(
Its so hard to look the other way when such good food is in front of me especially at iftari....i just bite my tongue and look the other way, holding the yummy water in my hand :)
