Nothing more than my undergarments. Sum dulhans wear choori pajama under the lhenga but when they move a bit, v cn c the choori pajama and that kills me! :smack:

Nothing other than undergarments of course but was sorry for that, my clumsy SIL pulled my lehnga too far above as I was making the entry and showed a part of my leg, that one of my guy cousin saw! thank God it was not in the middle of the hall!!!

im wearing footless tights which also have beaded work on the ankle area. im going to pull them up a little so that u cant see them, however, if u do then its not all bad.

I have bought a very padded bra to wear to give an extra curve as im not very big, dont have much more body fat so atleast im priviledged in one department :)

those are the exact ones i got in white.....yes, i think u can take off the clips, and if all else fails, cut them off :) I tried it on and kept it on for a couple of hours, it wasnt too bad actually.. the piping is what holds you in place and smoothes you out........beauty is pain though! so i'm going to bear it as long as my rolls arent coming out lol

My bridal lehnga was heavy as it is, I tried wearing my thin capris pjs under it but it was so uncomfy. I couldn't even walk around properly.

yaaaaaay, lets do that :) i dont know a single person except family in toronto and im really anxious and nervous about moving so far away from home but at least i married the right guy!!

i'll be moving in august, so lets keep in touch and maybe u can help me around the city....i know nothing about it....i dont even know where i can get threading or a good facial done in that area.

When going for ur lengha fitting are u actually wearing ur corset underneath to make sure it fits right.

I wore a padded nude seamless bra. Very important that your undergarments don't show through. Once I saw a bride wearing a pale lilac top with a white bra. Wrong!!!

I think if you have a figure that is nicely toned and tight (i.e no flabby bits or squishy bits that bulge when you sit down etc etc) you could get away with wearing a lovely matching set - depending on the colour of your outfit - if your wearing light colours nude/skin coloured bras are a must as white underwear will show through. Also seamless/smooth cups are better than lacy fussy ones that may show through your lengha top/shirt.

if your blessed with a bigger than average bust then a proper bra fitting is essential to make you look your best. As is the type of bra you go for. In my opinion its best to save the pretty, delicate and va va voom stuff for later on in the evening - during the day you can wear something sturdier with more coverage that will give you the right shape and uplift.

If your less than toned and want a perfect silhouette on your wedding day there are so many options available to you. Spanx is pretty cool especially their Incognito range - which come just under your bust with hooks/straps for your bra(so that it doesn't roll down when you move or sit) and come down just to your thighs - it also has a special opening thingie so that you don't have to spend hours and need 2 of your bridesmaids to help you go to the bathroom(sorry if that's a bit too graphic ). It may sound uncomfortable but if you get the right size they are incredibly comfortable and you easily look as if you have dropped a dress size, they also give you that nice cinched in /hourglass shape.

There are some other brands as well - Miraclesuit which claims to make you look 10lbs lighter.

I think these sort of control underwear are called foundation garments and although they are not the most sexy or romantic looking pieces they certainly do the job of making you look sleek on your wedding day.

A friend of mine who was slim but a little bit un-toned wore them for her wedding and she looked amazing- once the wedding was over and her husband and her had retired to their hotel room she just changed into nicer, prettier stuff.

that's my tuppence worth anyway.
