What did u wear?

Re: What did u wear?

^ hun, i'm sure those girls parents knew what was going on and thus didnt' have a problem with it. If the parents dont know what their kids are doing then there are many more serious problems than "gora-fying" their wedding.

Re: What did u wear?

i feel compelled to post even though i don't really want to get involved in this.
why is any of this a problem? because what people may/may not be doing has little to do with culture but with what is acceptable behaviour from a religious perspective.
i'm sure we all know girls who would never dream of showing skin at a mixed gathering, let alone dance. just as we all probably know other girls who are comfortable dancing in front of guys or what have you. both are determined what those people feel is right/not right islamically and really nothing to do with culture.

as Sara said, 'as to whether htey are good or bad values is up to that person to decide... not you.'

Re: What did u wear?

^right..look the other way...great advice you guys...no wonder our own country has become unlivable..where we all look the other way when such things happen...it has become a norm...i am not even bringing religion in this conversation... :) i recently returned from Lahore...hence the rants..

Re: What did u wear?

oh please.

if people have decided that's what they want to do what can you do about it? it's not about looking the other way. ranting on the internet about it isn't going to make people adopt islamic values that they were probably bought up with and chose to ignore anyway, is it?

Re: What did u wear?

um can i just say that kissing your HUSBAND at the end of a valima is not haram islamically, AT ALL

Re: What did u wear?

PF, you shouldn't have to justify yourself to anyone at all, just ignore her. It's your day, not hers - and it's the worst when other ppl judge and critisize others, if you disagree with something then thats your opinion, no one else needs to hear it. Only Allah (swt) has the right to judge us, not others!

hun, i wasn't even thinking about your photo which i thought was lovely, it was all the other stuff she started going on about. i was actually gonna comment ages ago about how hot all your friends are! the girlie's look lovely.

lol, some people would say that photographs themselves are haram....

that's my whole point everyone has their own thinking/belief's/practice of islam. yepruypeuypehypepheoiyhuifra7itrgfao!!!

and very well put by Silsila :)
