I have a cook coming in part-time, three days or two days a week basis.
When he is here, I’d like for him to cook meals for the entire week basically so that I don’t have to deal with cooking while pregnant.
Other than Haleem, **what else will freeze well? Any ideas? Please keep in mind I want foo for entire week and it needs to be salans or bhujias, food - not snacks like samosas and kebabs etc.
O and also keep in mind I am pregnant so I can do with a well balanced meal**
Thats all I can think of for now, but you may want to also have some kebobs and samosas on hand, just in case you want a snack during the day, or someone unexpectedly comes over.
If the cook is coming 2-3 times a week, maybe he can cook stuff which doesn't freeze well and you can consume it in a few days while keeping it in the fridge. It wont go bad in 2-3 days max.No...??

I think you are right chips, I should eat the stuff which doesn't freeze within 1-2 days and then take out stuff which does freeze well
How about freezing the gosht or qeema ka salan and then adding aloo or bhindi to the frozen salan whenever you want to eat it. The bhindi or aloo could be kept in the refrigerator cut and cleaned to be just thrown in there.
My mom does this, prepare the gosht at night and preps the bhindis, and then she throw in the bhindis when she gets back from work the other day. The bhindi gosht is ready within 10-15 min depending on how you like your bhindis.
Or frozen peas you could throw in frozen peas, but I guess those take longer to cook
