What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

O.K Agree. U.F.O’s and aliens are reserved for Americans and in some extreme cases Europeans. But Fairies or Ghosts are worldwide.

I believe they are real. Somany accounts worldwide.Ofcourse there are references about them in my holybooks.(So no question of refutal)

But how can we explain them scientifically?

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Weed

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

fairies exist? I know that my little one would be extremely happy to hear that. :D

^ :D

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

The thing is, if scientists cannot prove something through their research and back it up by experimental data, it is simply a theory NOT a fact.

So... No, the existence of ghosts isn't scientifically proven because for that, scientists would need to carry out research on the subject matter. How can you carry out research on something that isn't even visible?

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

^BBQ ..then how come somany sightings can be scientifically not possible'?

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Scientists can't prove much on the basis of sightings alone. As I said, you need experimental data to back up your theory in order for it to be accepted as a fact.

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Yes they can prove the existence of weed and its effects on human minds. :D

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Come to America and you can see fairies all the time

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

This is where you are going wrong. You need to provide examples of the so many sightings. :)*

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Scientific explanation is hallucinations.

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

They are Elves from Lord of The Rings....

GHOSTS (Spirits) are all around us!!

You dont wanna get them mad as you dont know what they may be capable of!

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Either drugged, sick or intentional, conscious hallucinations - much like Buddhist monks.

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

I think, science does not explain the unnatural, supernatural.

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

There are ghost research societies. People are working to scientifically prove and understand the paranormal phenomenons. You can search google if you want to know the kind of work they are carrying.

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

^any publications in peer-reviewed journals?

Re: What could be the scientifc explanation for Ghosts/Fairies ?

Heres where my Islam clashes with my inner pagan.

Ghosts as in dead peoples spirits etc… I dont think are possible in Islam… at least theres less mention of them.

Jinns and other unseen or whatever beings however are real or so the faith says.

However I must admit I dont think death is the end of the man… instead I think it’s the new begining of the spirit.

Life is too complicated sometimes to be treated like the life taker singing death, who has but only two sides and two edges,
I believe life is more circular with no real begining or end but one constant test after another…

A very interesting question Arlietter bhai.

I believe like yourself that ghosts, fairies and so on do indeed exists but I feelm no shame in admitting that I have yet to face one… and frankly have much more material forces to battle before I can even comprehend facing the ethereal ones.

Though that said I have often felt the presence of something more… myabe it’s just the sounds of old bones clicking in the wind… :whistling:
