99% percent of the responses were in favour of religion. Though no one cited an example where he/she actually favoured religion over country. Can we have some examples.
In my case if there is a simultaneous attack on India and a mosque, i will choose to go to border to save India.

According to me what comes first country or islam is not right question. In islam it is our duty to love our country.
second i am not able to understand your example which is not a practical example.
What islam says love your country, obey the rulers if they are not forcing you to act aginst Holy Quran, fight for your country during war for defence only,

As an example, in our country we have these customs where at the time of marriage, jahez is demanded from the man's family to the woman's family. That is something normally done in the country. However, there is nothing like that in our deen, so we didn't ask for anything from the girl's family. That is one example of preferring religion to your country.

Good example Brother. In islam it is duty of boy to arrange house, and other things incuding ornaments and dress for his wife but our practice is different and you can say unislamic. Demanding Dahaez is a sin.

Just to clear up , the customs and tradiations u mentioned that we follow in our country are cultural thing it has got nuthing to do with the country.We adapted our culture our tradiation mostly from Indian subcontinent .
