What Classical Romans could suggest to Pakistanis

Hopefully everyone is familiar with famous story about Emperor Nero, his fiddle, and the destruction of Rome. Obviously there are accounts that say Nero wasn’t “physically” fiddling, but that is hardly the issue.

The issue is that the leaders from both opposition and treasury benches must keep the stability of the country as their top priority. And if they fiddle around during critical junctures of the history, their Rome or their country will burn down.

Just look at our news media, judges, religious leaders, and politicians in Pakistan.

They all are behaving like bunch of quarreling women, shouting at each other in shrill voices.

In the meanwhile the terrorists both internal and external origins are having a field day. In some ways terrorists are very much like plague carrying rats or rabies infested dogs. You have to keep your home, cities and country super clean from any kind of garbage, and then be vigilant about the outbreak of such rats or dogs.

In case of Pakistan, we are no longer vigilant against these rats and dogs. And see the terrible price we all have to pay for our negligence. And that lack of vigilance by the leadership is what the historian want to point out when they say “Nero was fiddling while Rome was burning”.

That a burqaposh can also post in other forums too!!!
Other then PA.

Our ruling elite are anything but united in the face of the Islamists and terrorists onslaught.

May Allah help us. But oh wait. Islamists proclaim Allah is helping them too.

That's where the big quandary is.
