Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
Anyone?
ummm...it can remain completely the same as your single life (but now with a male room mate instead of the possibly tons of girl roommates you've had throughout college etc). or it can change completely. depends on your personality and your spouse's level of understanding. if you're the type who goes around lookin to start drama then you'll have plenty of opportunities and alot more excitement in your life. but if you're normal then i guess your life will be pretty normal too :)
Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
I think it depends on your individual circumstances and the type of person you end up with. Some people find adjusting to married life pretty easy. I've been nikahfied for almost 1 year and it's been blissful, alhumduliallah. Yes there are ups and downs but nothing that wasn't resolved in a matter of days, at the most. But generally, the advice given to people is that be prepared to compromise. But whenever I hear that line I feel like compromising is really hard work and I shouldn't HAVE to do it. So I choose to look at it from a different perspective. I'd rather be compassionate towards the people in my new life.
To me being compassionate means being empathetic, tolerant, and giving. So if someone does/says something you don't like, be tolerant and forgive them. If you find out about your partners past and it's hard to swallow, be empathetic. And most importantly, offer your love and affection in ways that go beyond verbal or physical gestures.
These are the things that I've found to be most helpful in my first year! Hope this helps :-)
Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
It's definatley life changing, be it for better or for worse.
In my case, as a singleton i was never quite normal and led an oddjob life, marraige was an exciting new lease of life... but with it came vulnerabilities and responsibilities., then i became a responsible married man and a man of duty ultimately i failed in my duty and was left helpless by fate, at least i was still alive.... then all that was torn from me and i lived like an animal... wishing death would find me or i would find death
And now i think i'm on the road back to humanity... A new chance at life but having lived and seen so much good and bad in a short and prolific life i now await what destiny holds.
Marriage is a chance to settle down and to complete life and bring joy to others, to finally find a cause worthy of me... to bring up children and hope they have a better life than me... and ensure nobody goes through the hell i did.
Not many men get a second chance at it... i guess i'm one of the very lucky few and thank Allah for it... starting again is always difficuilt but life is full of hurdles...
At least being married means i have a chance to understand love again and finally perhaps drown out all the misery from my bleeding soul.
Marriage brings two people together and gives a safe platform from which to bring up children.
Marriage helps lonley and sorrowfull people to share thier emotions and come to terms with the horrors of life.
Marraige ensures that offsring have a sure start in life and have the support of both parents.
Marraige from a womans perspective helps her find a mate as well as a protector and provider.
Marraige froma mans view point is a worthy cause as any to be commited to.

Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
I see marriage as a blessing from Allah where two people can help support each other and do wonderful things together. Ofcourse marriage is a sacrifice as well because you need to learn to love and listen to other half. Together you grow old and learn new things in life and bring children in to this world that are forever yours to love :)
I agree, there is an element of fear in marriage for both men and women.
We hear so many horror stories. MIL/DIL fighting, bad wives, bad husbands. What if it happens to you?
And for men, the "change" that we see in today's women is so confusing that everyone has a different interpretation of it. It's a total mess.

Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
marriage changes everything in ur present life
marriage changes everything in ur present life
is it a good change or a bad one?
Re: What changes marriage brings in life?
if your spouse is loving & caring & fulfils his responsibilities then it's a good change otherwise it's a bad change.
