fayz probably compliments in the wrong, pinching a lasses arse aint a compliment love :p
some men find it hard to differentiate between complimenting and making a pervy gesture. If they wink at the same time, its pervy. Some of the lines iv heard are so flipin lame, i think guys who use such lines are ashamed of them too.

If you want to really win a girl over, complement her on her achievements, her intelligence, her talents. Looks, hair, hands, sab Allah kee dain hei. You might as well spend some extra minutes on the janamaz saying Subhanallah.

LuxuryItem, however you compliment her, make sure there is an element of trust between the two of you and there is sincerity in your actions. If you are just saying things for the sake of it, it'll make you look like more of a chichora (not that I'm saying you are).
Complimenting her brain is great and all, but that'll only fly if you really know her. Otherwise, if she's a 'nice girl', tell her she's nice and what makes her nice.

Every one is different. how someone else can react to a certain complement is differnet from the person sittting next to them. So I cannot reall tell you what may come across as unique and genuine coming from you. But everyone else had pretty good suggestions: Their smile, eyes, heck you can even tell them they are smart. It all depends on HOW you say it!!! got it? now go out and try some of the nice suggestions guppans have given ya.
