Re: what can i do to occupy me?
Any refresher courses in your field?
If you are career oriented, think what kind of career you might want to choose for yourself in Pakistan, then do something that will benefit you in long term.
Re: what can i do to occupy me?
why not find a job with that degree, get some experience in before it goes stale?
Re: what can i do to occupy me?
I'm not sure what the UK equivalent is, but how about trying to find a position as a paralegal in your field? Like queer said, getting acclimated with your industry and gaining work experience should be priority right now

It's 5 years old and as far as we know nadz hasn't done a single thing with it...>I think it's already gone stale.

I would take Fusha Arabic, Islamic studies, sociology, anthropology, spanish, urdu, literature, gardening and horticulture, perhaps lanscape design, some crafting classes, cooking, baking. So many things to do! But we're not here to talk about what I would take! What do you like to do? What interests you? Are you thinking career oriented classes or general interests? And I'll be happy to make some suggestions. :)
You can spend a life-time on arabic and Islamic studies alone.
Re: what can i do to occupy me?
What Peony said. Or you can live under a rock for 2 months and spend the 2 months finding out what you missed. Your 4 months will be over this way. Or just go with Peony's advice, I think it beats mine just marginally.
Re: what can i do to occupy me?
I would do an internship or volunteer for free at a lawyers' office to get my resume' fresh.
Re: what can i do to occupy me?
Okay so it's not business however I'm not sure what experience you had previously so how's about a bit of voluntary work at CAB? As far as I know those guys have to be pretty sharp with Law etc so it could be a nice gentle way to break you back in considering you are likely to be looking for work for OHs spousal visa soon?
Just a thought.

Start networking.
Use the intelligence that you have been gifted with.
Get stronger with each rejection.
Then kick ash.
