hey, recently i´my friend was looking for some nice dresses and i accompanied her. so there was a lovely dress(in sale by the way )
but the problem is,that it is quite revealing
The only thing I can think of is adding green mesh. I’m not sure if the Pk darzis can do this without ruining your dress. You will want to find a really good darzi who has experience with western clothing. Then again, the mesh look may not go with the cut of the dress, so… I would say just wear it with a bolero.
@Panache:i was thinking of the same idea.a plain fabric and a bit of the "gala" and then stich sleeves on it.
it is a silk fabric and silk is easily available in pak.
i will def. look for a good darzi.
xactly. Good darzis can easily do that, infact one of my client came with the same problem and I did the same thing. What you can do is buy pure chiffon/silk and dye in ur required shade cuz getting the same shade is almost impossible. All the best!
ok thanks.i think i will send it to pak and tell them to look for a good darzi and good stuff/material.if its not possible i will go for a cardigan i suppose.
by the way how did you guys like the frock?will it look good in summer?
what about a white chooridar/choori pyjama?or any other suggestions?
I agree with above, don't add the sleeves and gala or whatever. I would wear this with a back cardigan and tights for a formal look, off-white, beige cardiagan for a summery look. If you wear a hijab that should cover the gala, otherwise you could button the cardigan from the top.
Amen to the couple of girls above! Just put a longer a bit baggy cardi over it and wear it with black tigths...NOT LEGGINGS..would look off with the dress in my opinion. Or for a more edgier look throw a cropped jean jacket over it or brownish leather jacket! In the summper I think it would look lovely with a jean jacket and black tights .with black heels for the evening, and open toed heeled sandals in a browny nude color for daytime!!
