In Pakistan?
English itself is not a subject that would get you a job right away. The only one i can think of is that of a journalist, or a writer. Those would work with a Masters in English. The journalistic work would be fine if you wish to work for a newspaper, good journalists are always in demand.
If you get a second degree, you can go into various fields, if it is history, you can either become a political analyst, but there are very few such institutions in Pakistan, which could aid you in such a future.

you can also work in any firm in writing the manuals for things. For example toys that need assembly and so on. It may not seem a great thing but there are lots of opportunities there, however make sure that is the career you seek, because if you want to be Management consultant and you end up with an English degree, sure you have a chance of getting there but it is a long chance and employers will pick a lot of people over you, which can be extremely disheartening.
thats the problem guys,im not sure about what o do,i kinda live life by the day,and i thought of doing a degree in english or english&history combined because i enjoy the subjects,i have been told they are not very vocational,but still i wanted to get as much knowledge as i could about career options in pk,as i intend to return to pk after completeing my education.
