what breaks your wuzu…? i know the obvious..(like bodily functions), but how about singing…? or saying a bad word (like "shut up)?

And on the topic of bodily functions… what if you burp? is your wuzu broken?

  1. singing or saying a bad word does not invalidate the fast. Btw ,'Shut up' is not a bad word.

Bad words like swearing and back biting and telling a lie is forbidden (Haraam) for muslims. We should avoid them all the time.

  1. burp does not break wuzu. Fart does; along with obvious bodily function.

On a side note, It is disliked and against etiquette to burp in loud voice, specially in company of other people. Peophet (pbuh) discouraged it

In addition, I believe deep sleep also requires one to renew wudhu upon waking up.

if yu sleep in the namaz position your wudu not broken if yu bleed it breaks, if yu have sex it breaks
