I also recently finished reading “Shantaram” by Gregory David Roberts. It’s about the author himself. The book talks about the Gregory was senteced in Australia, his escape from prison. And he is on the run constantly and he gets to India. It talks about how he falls in love with India and his life there.

It is not written like a biography but a novel in first person. And people say that not everything he mentioned in the novel is true.

I did not expect to like the novel but it was a really good read.
