i have heard people label many beauty products/clothing as only to be used or worn nearing/after marriage.
some of these beauty products/clothes that I have heard to be “reserved” for the older age group include perfume, sarees, eyeshadow, lipstick.
what are some that you would consider adding/removing from this list?

Btw I know sarees and lipstick are common ones but do people really say no perfume till engagement/marriage?

^ i agree with the above, ignore it.... I don't plan to get married any time soon and i love wearing eyeshadow!

I wore the full shebang make up on my best friend's wedding (foundation, heavy eyeshadow, falsies etc etc) a few months back, and someone from my family said 'why are you wearing so much makeup, you're not even married yet??'

wear what you like, there's really no rules about it. if anything, women might tend to make less effort after their honeymood period when they get married!

LOL i wear all sorts of make up - even red lipstick! ignore what everyone says! It's stupid! Older women are so stupid and think they know it all!

I went in the opposite direction (except for sarees) I wore everything before marriage and cut down considerably on the maekup after marriage :D
