Anyone who has seen any of the beheading videos surely will agree that people capable of perpetrating such an act on another living human posess a singular and
unfathomable type of inhumanity.
Zarqawi was very fortunate to be killed quickly and not to be conscious for 45-90 seconds as his head was being sawed off clumsily with a not very sharp knife (not the clean fast method proscribed by his faith-inso far as it relates to animal sacrifice)
What awaits him?
perpetual and constant beheading of himself.
virgins?
“special place in Hell” is a cliche, but I think he’s in Hell’s VIP lounge in the waiting area listening to what’s happening to his predecessors.
What filth. Killing innocent women and children, sawing off heads.
What I wonder is if the "insurgency" will die with its leader as US govt/media kept saying something similar about Saddam i.e. as soon as Saddam is captured the insurgency will die... but we all know what really happened. Lets wait and watch.
What (punishment) is awaiting Zarqawi is God's will ? we should leave ALL judgements to Him.
Whatever punishment it will be, it will be less than what a US military personnel will receive for killing children and pregnant women and certainly less than what awaits Bush and his cronies…
As far as Islam is concerned, we do not guess what fate awaited a Muslim who was fighting…
All the news we heard about him was from western sources and western sources are the biggest liars…But we do know that he was fighting those who came into another country to usurp it and kill its people…And he was there defending it…
So, who knows…But I am sure you’ll get a reply from some mod-Muslims that will satisfy your sentiments…

very nice post lajawab..........you said most things which i was going to say.:D
We don't know what the truth is, but, if he is responsible for the murder (directly and indirectly) of civilian muslims and non muslims, then he isn't someone that should be looked up to.
It is sad to see so many willing to look past his short comings in his fight against the US.
If he was a Muslim with even a dot of faith in his heart, he will be forgiven sooner or later at the day of judgement. If you want to ask, the bigger question is what awaits a Non-Muslim.
Under what definition of jihad or pleasing God does someone who beheads innocents, slaughters 1000's of men, women and children indiscriminately, terrorizes the population with suicide bombings in public places and advocates and carries out the murder of non-sunni Muslims? There is no way I would want to be in his shoes on judgment day.
they dont know if he did all that he is blamed for..which I am fairly certain he did.
God is merciful and forgiving and "maybe" something zarqawi did at some point in his life will overshadow all the merciless killings, but in general murderers, criminals are going to feel full force of justice from God.
I think many ppl shy away from saying with any absolute surity because we believe that while we may have opinions or ideas, the fate really is in the hand of God.
But one can safely say that based on what we know about what he has been doing recently by being instrumental in the death of so many ppl, unless forgiven for some reason, he will have to face severe punishment for his actions.

If that was the case then the prevailing opinion wouldn't be "the bigger question is what awaits a Non-Muslim" which implies that we know with certainty fate of others (non-Muslims). If we are so sure that a pious, loving, peaceful non-Muslim will perish in hell fire then surely there is room to judge a 'muslim' guilty of such heinous crimes.
Sem, according to our beliefs, a person who supports oppression and tyranny is no better than the tyrant and will also be treated as such in the afterlife…
The case with Zarqawi is that his crimes are just what are attributed to him by the western media…And we know, being smart and astute as we are, how truthful that can be…Som basically his crimes are whatever are presented in the media…No concrete proof…
So whther I say he did any of the things or not is baseless…For all I know he may be a very innocent person and truly a great and noble freedom fighter fighting against oppression…
You on the other hand are supporter of the American government whose crimes against humanity are proven, documented and legendary…Japan, Vietnam, Granada, Iraq, Afghanistan e.t.c. and not to mention the hundreds of proxy wars…
I ask you, how would you feel being raised in the same rank and status of those who perpetrated those crimes? How would you like to be judged before God on the same pedestal as that of George Bush and Ariel Sharon? War criminals whose brutality is documented with proofs?
