I’m a doctor. Its okay, most people not in science may not know so quick review. STDs/STIs are caused by pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc) that get carried and transmitted by sharing of blood and bodily fluids, including semen and vaginal fluids..some even get transmitted by physical contact such as herpes. Maybe the poster meant semen, not sperm. HIV, herpes, and HPV are caused by viruses while syphillis, chlymadia, gonorrhea are caused by bacteria. Both men and women can transmit if they are infected.

I think bigger issue is the paternity issue–back in the day women were not independent and if they were sleeping around they have the burden of getting pregnant and raising offspring, not men. Pregnancy takes a major toll on women biologically and socioeconomically and requires significant energy expenditure by the female. Pregnancy has specific diseases and complications. And labor itself carries a relatively high mortality risk for women especially before the age of modern medicine. If they don’t know who the father is who is going to be responsible for the kid (they didn’t have contraception or paternity tests back in the day)? No one. And if a woman keeps popping out fatherless kids, it’ll lead to over population, homelessness, and even perpetuate prostitution, disease, crime and poverty. This is very evident in red light districts and inner city areas of nations throughout the world.

It’s Islamic but i personally wouldn’t have more than one wife cause I got a limited attention span and having 4 wives would take a toll on my prospective bank balance.

From what I gather from all the elder men who are married; marriage is a loss for a man, not a gain, so having having 4 wives would be equivalent to castration.

When did you convert to Hinduism? Because the Muslims I know don’t believe in janams.

Yes you should only allow him to bring a second wife just to enjoy seeing him be miserable. If you think know about it it’s a great revenge seeing such setting rarely get successful
