Danke.
long time no speak eh? :D
Re: What are you reading?
You guys have to start giving a little blurb about the books as well.
The titles all seem so interesting but then I have to go to goodreads.com to figure out what the book is about.
I am currently reading The Beautidul and Damned by S Fitzgerald.
Good so far!

Hoe is het?
Just finished The Art of Racing in the Rain - great book... written from the perspective of a dog, about his 'owner' and family. Lovely read.
Currently reading Angela's Ashes. Enjoying it so far.
Re: What are you reading?
A little dithering about Anne of green gables - the Britisher is too nice! ![]()

Re: What are you reading?
Angela's Ashes was amazing... it's funny, witty... yet heart-breaking at the same time. Also makes u wonder about the resilience of man.. loved it. Also read A Stolen Life... it was a memoir written by Jaycee Dugard, the girl who was kidnapped at the age of 11 and found when she was 31 or something. Extremely sad, but the sound of the story is as if an 11-year old wrote it .. which makes sense, but mostly it comes off as really repetitive. It's very graphic and skips around a lot.
Anyhow, about to start The Martian and To Kill a Mockingbird... the latter for GS book club

Re: What are you reading?
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doer. Just started reading it, so far so good.
Also reading The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner. Extremely hard to read. Requires tonnes of patience to get through the first section and i'm struggling.
Re: What are you reading?
I've heard great things about All the Light We Cannot See, my only fear is the historical fiction becomes to much history and not enough fiction.
And are you done with To Kill a Mockingbird? Hain hain ARE YOU?

Will review All the Light We Cannot See, for you.
Hehehehe, yes i've finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird as well as Go Set a Watchman. The confrontation between Scout and Atticus was awesome, the rest not so great. I wanted to ask you are we going to do GSAWM for the book club or not. And i've literally rolled up my sleeves to fight anyone who says Atticus was a racist in TKAMB.
A humble request to you and everyone else who haven't read The Sound and The Fury, please please please read it. I want someone else to be my buddy during this period of suffering. Because of its writing style, it's one of the most hardest piece of literature ever written. So come one, come all and be a part of this wonderful mind numbing experience.
Re: What are you reading?
All the Light We Cannot See....the writing is beautiful...the plot isn't so great.
Re: What are you reading?
Currently reading Jane Eyre. I loved Wuthering Heights so it'll be interesting to see how they compare.
