How did you like Written in the Stars?
Re: What are you reading?
^ I thought it was okay. The topic’s been done to death by every other desi writer, so I guess I was expecting something fresh from it. The ending was rushed and a little too neatly tied up. Also, these kids were only 17, so I couldn’t really buy their “true love” story and that he’d do what he did towards the end.
But I did like the author’s descriptions of Pakistan and how much the girl enjoyed being there at the beginning :k: As well as the despair and eventual resignation she felt in that situation. What are your thoughts?
Re: What are you reading?
^^ Spoiler!!! So they end up together?!
I agree tho - the topic has been done to death!
I think I'm going to get around to it this weekend will post my thoughts.
Thanks for the review :)

Re: What are you reading?
finished it and won't suggest you though it got a happy ending. Its so descriptive at places that it can be termed as porn. I haven't read '50 shades of Grey', but after reading this book, I can say that this book might have encouraged the writer of '50 shades..' to explore the topic further.
I skipped the descriptive parts but I did not like the book. The book was good in the beginning but I don't know, I did not like the book towards the end. It seemed to me the author switched completely what he was telling about love and about not being together in the beginning to make it a happy ending.
Same thing happened with his book Alchemist. I enjoyed the beginning and not the end.
