biography of two writers (Ghalib and Manto) covered in one novel. It covers their personal and professional lives. There is no story line as such. But it got lots and lots of stories beside Ghalib and manto’s life. It got references to Shams Tabraiz and Rumi. It refers to Urdu’s famous daastan (tale) masthnavi sehr ul bayan.. It summarises famous sufi book ‘Conference of the birds’… and I’m still on page 150 of this 500+ pages book.
