Finished reading ‘The forty rules of love’. After 13th century Turkey, the next book I picked is about 19th century India. Wajid Ali Shah’s queen Hazrat Mahal and 1857 independence war.

In the City of Gold and Silver: The Story of Begum Hazrat Mahal by Kenizé Mourad | Goodreads

I have this on my to-read list as well!
