Re: What are you reading?
I have always been facinated by political dynasty families…after reading my way through the Kennedys’, Nehru/Gandhis’…I started on the Bhuttos after Benazir’s death. I discovered Fatima’s journalistic articles for various news websites and am a big fan of hers..however, I found “Songs of Blood and Sword” to be a very one sided “hero worship” view of Murtaza and his life…which is understandable! I still enjoyed the book, and love her style of writing..it’s always good to see a different side…
(PS…I know next to nothing about Pakistani polictics, as I am US born and raised, and my family has no political leanings either way! I’m just curious and love to read about fascinating people!)
