What are you proud of?

Re: What are you proud of?

Sure felt proud when dad said "mujhe meri betiyon se koi shikayat nahin hai" ... and may it remain that way InshaAllah.

of things. :D

Re: What are you proud of?

Proud I don't know...
but I have been "sarshar" most of my life... I wonder why,,,
I think I am blessed...
I thank God for that... I don't think it has any thing to with my being...

Re: What are you proud of?

I'm proud of many things such as family, personal/professional accomplishments, etc. But the first thing that came to mind is that I'm proud of how much I've changed/grown over the years. I feel like I'm more confident, open-minded, and just in general more comfortable in my own skin than what I used to be. The trials I went through, I now realize, have made me a stronger person.

That I don't need any help scratching or wiping....Allah SWT kabhi kisi ka mohtaj na banaye

Re: What are you proud of?

I think people are confusing pride with gratitude. Alhumdulillah that we’re muslims and Alhumdulillah that we’re happy and healthy etc but these are not achievements. Doesn’t pride come from effort and achievement? :hmmm:

Re: What are you proud of?

^^^i see your point..hmmm…what am I proud of…

I am proud of the fact that my husband and I work so well together as a team and managed to get through the first two years of having twins plus a toddler without any nannies, babysitters, maids, house help and minimal help from family…yes, he’s a keeper!

Re: What are you proud of?

oopss looks like i misunderstood what reha was asking. so what am i grateful for…way too many things, good, supportive parents that are always there for me, the fact that i have arms and legs, wonderful brothers that would come help me whenever i need them. the list is way too long, it would take up the whole page.

i love this guy and his motivational videos, i think God speaks through him

Re: What are you proud of?

I'm proud of running a half marathon. I'm not the sporty type, and running those 13.1 miles was the hardest thing I ever did. Not to mention the 2 months of training that preceded the race.
