What are they called??!!

When you are wearing a top that has short sleeves and you need to pray namaz…there are these sock like things that are open on both ends that you can wear as “under-sleeves” and they cover the gap left by the sleeves of your shirt.

What are they called and where can you get them from?

Re: What are they called??!!

i made them for my self back home, take soccer socks and cut their toes, you have nice arm covers.

Re: What are they called??!!

Re: What are they called??!!

Re: What are they called??!!

You can buy them at places where they sell hijab. They are also called hijab sleeves.

Thanks Monk Aapa!!!

Re: What are they called??!!

Deebs, leg warmers are thicker though, no?

Bazoo- jaamavaar? Isn't jamavar s typr of printed fabric... unless the words also refers to pajama or baazu-pajama

Can these arm sleeves be bought from like TJ Max or Target as opposed to placed that sell hijab?

Re: What are they called??!!

RV, Google "Armery".

Tat jackets available at amazon, ebay, theemsstore.com, and walmart I believe.

Re: What are they called??!!

jamaavar nahiiN bal k jaanavar. jaamavar means 'something [fabric] that covers" and baazoo means arms...so, baazoo-jaamavar = fabric that covers arms.

btw, the word is NOT paajaama = pyjama because paa = feet, feet covering = socks.

the correct word is actually paayejaama where:

paaye = legs
