Re: what are the techniques to do the "Rata"
I hated it too but in some cases you need to do that to get a good grade. I used to read once and will write it down , then read again to see what I missed and write it again. Of course one paragraph at a time though. Alhumdulillah I am bestowed with good memory so it used to take me three tries to rattafy a paragraph no matter what the length. Then lastly I will write down all the paragraphs I rattafied to make sure I have rattafied the whole lesson or concept.
Koi shak koi sawal ?
Re: what are the techniques to do the "Rata"
i've the same problem and boy it sucks big time ........... so try doing active learning i.e; recall that particular topic or notes every now and than or keep aside an hour a day for that , this way u'll end up refreshing it in yr memory
Re: what are the techniques to do the “Rata”
i developed this new strategy…i am recording my lecture notes…and while i m browsing the internet, i put them on…
k shaid meri khoperi main kuch reh jayea ![]()
Re: what are the techniques to do the "Rata"
hahah rata marring! I tried recording myself but I kept Laughing and stuff, ummm try spider diagrams and bubble charts and loadsaa different coloured pens and glitter pens and highlighter pens and those scented pens and underlining woop wooop! pwettty
OK Just cram last min...............oooooooh why dont you sing your notesssssss!
Cramming last minute never helps. Do this; read your notes as soon as the lecture is done, then review them again the next day, while mentally taking a snapshot of what point is located where on the page. Photographic memory is what they call it (doesn't mean that it will work the last minute). Reviewing before the final will be piece of cake because it would all look so familiar. Good luck.

I used to make outlines/ points to remember and go by that. they worked for me. I have never been a crammer ![]()
Breakdown the thing into categories.
Try to find some sequence in between the categories.
Within each category associate the main theame with some incident/picture/image etc.
Hope it helps.
