And let me ask you this :"So what do u think is the purpose of our creation? Why are we here? Just to eat and sleep and have kids? Is that all? If thats all then life is meaningless. There is alot more to life than that. "

Humble....meri jan,,,I always thaught that you have already defined a purpose for your own creation. Lets just dont wast time on the reason that why you are here.
One more thing, the (current) inability or the desire to judge other humans 100% is the reason behind a universal judgement theory.
and ullu....wah , wah

Salam-a-lekum brother cool dude,
There are two references I found in quran about Imam Mehdi (a.s):
1)the Holy Qur'an says: "He said: Surely I will make you an Imam of men." Abraham said: And of my offspring? My covenant includes not the unjust, said He." (2:124)
**Imam Mehdi will be the offspring of Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.w.) and Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.w.) was the offspring of Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s).
2)"wa qul ja al haqo wazahaqal batilo innalbatila kana zahuqa"
means: "Aur haq aa giya aur batil mit giya; beyshak batil mit janey hee key liey tha"
** It is the same ayat that will be written on Imam Mehdi( as.)'s right arm. One of many indications.
I will certainly give the source for this ayat in quran brother. I dont remeber the exact location right now but its a very famous ayat.
your brother,
Humble.
I have one problem with the Theory of Qiyamat.
How about the millions upon millions of people who have already died. Will they have to come back to life to witness the Qiyamat? Or will it only be witnessed by the ones who are living at the time it comes. If that’s so, is it fair? I don’t think so.
assalam-o-alekum again,
There is a difference between "Qiyamat" and the "Day of judgement".
The word qiyamat refers to the end of the world. Its just same as maut (death). Some people have heart attack, some die of disease and some other ways. They all die. Likewise people who'll be left right before qiyamat will die too alongwith every other creature in the universe. Therefore, it is totally FAIR and according to the ADL (JUSTICE) of Allah to finish things here in the world. The people who'll be living at that time will die and there is a large number of people who die every day. Death is yaqeeni (certain).
Then after that every human being will rise again and the day of judgement will be there where we WILL have to answer about each and every action here we perform.
I have alot of friends from other religions and I ask them this question for which they have no answer:"So here we are in this world. We do all kind of things here. We eat, sleep, have kids and stuff. So then we die. and now what? whats after that? Is that all what its about? Whats the point in this kinda life? No. There is alot more to than in life as I mentioned before.
If a person focus on the hereafter and live this life for the herefater and do good deeds then he/she will be satisfied and happy at the time of death.
As Imam Ali said at the time of his death:
"fuzto birabbil kaaba"
means: "kaabey key rab (Allah) ki qasam , mein kamiab ho giya."
Imam Ali(a.s) once said:
"Oh Insaan (human) attach yourself with Allah because HE is the most loyal friend you have. All other relationships of this world are weak, Allah's rishta (relationship) with you is the strongest."
Life after death is a beautiful journey if the deeds performed here are good and the person remains shakir (thankful) to Allah.
Humble.
minime,
I do NOT consider it a waste of time to think and ponder about life and the hereafter. This is the whole purpose of creation to think about life and hereafter and "ACT" accordingly.
and because you are talking on theoritical grounds , so here is a theory for you :
"I think, therefore I exist"
Humble.
Dear Humble, can we summarize what you are saying as:
"Na ho Marna, tou Jeenay Ka Maza Kiya?"
Yes you can say that. That sentence sounds familiar. Is that Ghalib's shair?
Another sign of qayamat as sung by rafi
'waqt aata hain jab qayamat ka, tere jalawon ki baat hoti hain'

I was wondering if any body had a practicle experience about qyamah, its all theory, this way or that way, we all know that.
I started the thread by saying that when you stop thinking(which is, when u die) you seize to exist. So when you u dont exist ...who cares what happens.
The sky is falling!
The Sky Is Falling!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you people believe in all that…some of it is true and some of it is false…You guys really think that GOD will tell you when the world is going to end, so you can start pretending to be good?

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
you are absoultly right youngbrat but we are talking about qiyamat , Allah has already given us signe of it and its for sure that it will come one day . you can find all signs of qiymat in quran also the futrue has been told in quran so we are not doing any sin.
Minime,
I am sorry to say that your wisdom is very limited and all u think about is materialistic things. You do NOT stop thinking when u die. You cannot act and do good or bad things because the time is over for all that after u die but u will wait for the day of judgement when u will again rise from your grave and be given punishment for all the bad deeds you perform here.
Well, I dont know about you, but most Humans (and all muslims) DO care about what will happen after they die.
The basic difference here is that:
" All the weird politicians, beauracrats, and so called philosophers of the world are telling us to live for this materialistic world. Islam opposes that idea of ONLY living for this world. Yes, our beautiful religion tells us to enjoy things in this world too but our main focus is the WORLD HEREAFTER. The reason? Here is the reason. This world is fanee (temporary) and the world hereafter is daimee (permanent), never ending. We live for the worldhereafter. A momin’s true life starts AFTER HE/SHE DIES and your life ends there. Thats why a momin is happy at the time of death because death is nothing else but meeting the dear Allah.
And thats why every munafiq, kafir, mushrik is afraid of death and cries when he/ she dies because that munafiq/kafir knows that its the end."
Regarding your question about practical experience, " You DO NOT have to have a practical experience for everything u want to prove. So, apparently what you are saying is that U WILL NOT believe in anything you dont see. Well, lets see. Lets do this, let me pinch u and then what would u say? You’ll obviously say, It hurts. Then I am going to ask you to “show me where is the pain”.
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/smile.gif
and then you will say well I CANNOT SHOW you the pain. Its something I feel, something I “KNOW” . Something I believe in . I believe that it hurts. But I will NOT believe you because according to your weird theory, You do not believe in anything you dont see."
Does that make sense? No. If not then your heart has walls around it. May Allah have mercy on you.
Humble.

Dear humble, first of all don’t be sorry about something you never had a hand in...
The very human nature to judge other persons is so obvious in ur response, passing judgement on others having limited whatever is there...
So what ur saying is that my grandfather is still thinking in his grave....like I am thinking about going to Mars when I am 78...is this what u mean by thinking ....if this is so, then please I need to know the difference b/w being dead and alive.
Well, I dont know about you, but most Humans (and all muslims) DO care about what will happen after they die. <<<<
About your concern that we humans DO care about what will happen after we die, is a very natural process. Since we didn’t knew, and there were chances that the humans, because of their curiosity, would do things to know.....some wise men thought that its was better to give them a reason otherwise the free thinking nature of humans will lead us somewhere we have never even imagined before.
And now after centuries and centuries, you are giving a reason that the world is temporary....the very nature of human desire to ever live has lead us believe that there is something beyond OUR OWN demise-able beings.
Does that make sense? No. If not then your heart has walls around it. May Allah have mercy on you.<<<<
And once again, passing judgement (another nature of humans to become god) on wisdom and sense, and even assuming walls (which you created, by your own thinking) which, are not letting you come near my heart....
The Signs are listed in roughly chronological order, although the order is not necessarily precise, especially for those in the future.
This is a brief summary of the signs; there are many books, articles, cassettes etc. which discuss these in greater detail. May Allah enable us to recognise and heed the Signs, and strengthen us in the times of tribulation.

The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected

Minime,
I dont wanna waste my time arguing with you because you are from juhalas (ignorant ones) and all you want is to argue here and make the atmosphere in our clean rooms bad.
So you better watch out. Your arguments just dont make sense and you argue just for the sake of arguing. This is my last response to you , so do not reply to it. Appreciate it.
Youngbrat and shaheen,
Excellent input on the subject. Thanks.
May Allah bless you.

Probably, it's the matter of belief, but according to my knowledge, it is the aqqeedah of "Ahl-e-Sunnah" that Dajjal will be killed by Hazrat Eesaa(A.S) (Jesus Christ) at place of "LUDD" (according to an authenticated hidith), which is interestingly an Israeli air base called "LUDDA" (Walla-ho-Alam)!
