Yes he does, if the woman puts it in the marriage contract which many do. They also need a valid reason for re-marrying as well if the woman has not put it in the marriage contract.

Yes, but it’s not islamic as you put it. The Islamic way doesn’t require permission. They don’t need a valid reason either. You can put anything in a contract but then it’s just what it is, a contract.
