One of my friends told me that he/she has been appointed as a lecturer in Hamdard University for 120000 Rs. I am surprised because she is not even a Masters degree Holder in any subject. how she can be appointed? Hamdard University might have low standard education.

hmmm interesting question … I used to know someone who was a junior lecturer and they had a salary of 36000 rupees … this was about two years ago ..

May be your friend has a lot of practical experience in an applied subject area? He/she might have been hired in a clinical professor position?

If she is telling the truth or lie how does it matter to anybody else ?
How much she is paid for the skillset she has is between her and the university.
I will not worry much about it.

On an average - Private universities in Pakistan pay around 1500 to 4500 Rs per hour to lectures , it does increase if you are a professor with Phd ..
