What are the chances that a women could conceive 2 days after finishing her periods?
I would think theres no chance, coz obv if she has just finished her periods then theres no egg for the sperm to meet right?
Anyone have anymore info on this?

Anything's possible! And yes, women do ovulate days 7-10 of their cycles.

mind u..even if someone has conceived they wouldn't be feeling nauseous straight away right..
I guess im feeling a bit too optimistic...am feeling sick and hungry and been feeling dizzy too...reckon its lack of sleep (sigh!)

^ usually it takes at least two weeks (when you're considered 4 weeks pregnant) for those symptoms to show up -- or longer (mine hit when I was almost 6 weeks)!

It is rare but still possible to conceive like that. The sperm can stay in your body for a few days (i forget how many) and depending how short your cycle is, by the time you ovulate, it oculd still be there.

Ya sperm can live in your body for up to 5 days I think, so even if you arent ovulating as early as two days after your period, the sperm might still stick around till an egg drops a few days later. It can especially be possible if your cycles are really short, like if your cycle is only 24 days, then you may possibly be ovulating around day 10. If you period ends day 6, then two days later is day 8, just two days before you ovulate. There is less chance if your cycles are long, like if your cycle is 29 days and you are ovulating around day 15, then the chances of conceiving on day 8 are pretty much nil, as the sperm wouldnt survive the 8 day wait. But of course every women's cycle is different and ovulation pattern is different, Im just giving estimates. Hope you get the good news you are looking for soon InshaAllah!
