Altaf wants explanation from army and ISI chief
Why is it that only Altaf Husain is asking army and ISI chief to give explanation to the nation. When the world was saying OBL is in Pakistan our army establishment was assuring the nation there is no way he can be here. What about Mullah Omar, Mullah Masood Azhar, Dawood Ibrahim, and the rest of terrorist. Where is our own Mr. Khan and why is he not demanding any explanation from the military establishment. Where are the rest of political leaders, and why are they so mysteriously quiet on the issue. Why our army and ISI chief have not resigned, or why any of our so called political leaders not demanding resignation from them.
The common people of our country have suffered a lot because of these global games played by our military establishment. Will somebody stand up and tell these idiots that enough is enough..

MQM chief also sought apology from government and secret agencies over lapse.
Re: Altaf wants explanation from army and ISI chief
^^ I admire his benevolence, but in all fairness, a british citizen cannot order pakgov/pakmil
Re: Altaf wants explanation from army and ISI chief
I want explanations from Altaf bhai and MQM about their role in Karachi unrest and target killings..... as a dutch citizen now!
Re: What are other so-called Pakistani political leaders saying?
Aren't british superior to dutch ? :p
Re: What are other so-called Pakistani political leaders saying?
Altaf hussain has called for "Goal Maiz" conference and demanded answers from ISI/Army.
Gilani has issued couple of statements (or jokes) in last 2-3 days
Zardari has wrote the article in news paper on this
Imran khan has discussed it in talk shows and he mainly was discussing conspiracy theories
Rest of the politicians like Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz sharif, Asfand Yar Wali, ch Shujaaat etc dont have TV or any link with outside world so they dont know that this has happened.
Re: What are other so-called Pakistani political leaders saying?
That is a good suggestion IMO.
sort of, bach gaya sala mere hathon se ![]()
Zardari & Co should be speaking against it, if they really were not kept in the loop then they MUST speak the truth instead of trying to get credit for what they never did.
IMO its military/ISI chief who should resign but some responsibility also falls on government as they are supposed to ask question to military and drag them onto some sort of trial/questioning.
gol maiz conference is find and all that but I also want government to brief the nation on whole episode instead of a statement or two, instead of an article.
I am now getting confident that military/govt had good big cut in all this, they had some sort of deal to let it all happen and get their mun-kala, not sure whether it was for personal gains (very likely) or national benefit (highly unlikely).

I said it on day one. Its inconceivable that 4 choppers hover around PMA and firing goes on for 40 min without getting any response from Pakistani forces/Air-force. Problem is that there is a big political price tag attached with this that no one (Govt or Army) in Pakistan want to pay so they will distance themselves.
There is every chance that there was an agreement of "you keep on doing it and we will keep on complaining" just like in case of drone.
Personally, I want Govt/Army to claim it if they have helped in Intelligence or Operation. It was a good cause.
