We need to take a bunch of gifts for family and friends in Canada…they all like brands and we want to take gifts they will like of course.
I am not into brands at all - like i know everyone there loves Coach - which to me means nothing.
Are the following brands considered ‘good’
FCUK
Deisal
Pringle
Ralph Lauren
Hilfiger
Burberry.
Here Burberry is not considered to be that classy at all but I know my uncle there loves it so I need some idea.
Thanks!

Re: What are considered to be 'good' brands in north america/canada?
^ Burberry have some very classic pieces inspi...I love the brand.
Ralph Lauren and Hilfiger you can find cheaper in N. America so I wouldn't bother with those. European labels like Hugo Boss are cheaper over here compared to there so maybe consider that? British labels like Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Lyle & Scott, Fred Perry, Ben Sherman and Jaeger?
Re: What are considered to be 'good' brands in north america/canada?
only Burberry & Ralph Lauren.
Re: What are considered to be 'good' brands in north america/canada?
Will they appreciate british brands though? like Paul Smith and Lyle & Scott?

One word...Anglomania :P I have a lot of Canadian students on my course and they all love Paul Smith and Fred Perry. Just don't bother with Ralph Lauren and Hilfiger, trust me that stuff is a lot cheaper over there.

Pringle? That's a chip.
Re: What are considered to be ‘good’ brands in north america/canada?
Americans and specially desi have limited knowledge about him and his fashion house, imo.
but Paul Smith is famous for his excellent casual shirts patterns, but they tend to be more towards European male who off course less fat then us here - ain’t gonna fit

Just because you haven't heard of a label, doesn't mean others haven't either.
Inspiron, the best thing to do is just to ask them what they want and get them that :)
