What did you have to cope with when you first got married?

As for my self, I had difficulties sharing a bathroom! I’ve always had my own bedroom and bathroom, and only my stuff were in my room and my bathroom, but when I started living with my husband, it took me sometime to accept that I have to keep some space for him!

I didn’t mind sharing the bedroom, but the bathroom ARGHHH , it took me sometime.. NOW, I enjoy decorating the sink for him and I always hang his towel on the rail that’s easier to reach.

A friend of mine was telling me that she had to cope with privacy. When she got married, her line of privacy was broken. She just couldn’t do anything or surprise her husband with anything without him knowing!!

What about you?? Was there anything you had to cope with or still coping with?

I think i too will have some difficulty with the no privacy thing. I love reading, and i prefer to do it in by myself in peace, buuuuut marriage can change things no? its all about compromise i guess.
Anyway, the most difficult thing i've had to cope with so far is being apart from my husband lol. We've been apart for nearly 9 months now, but it feels like 9 years. I can't imagine anything being harder than this, inshallah there wont be!
